One day in Hawaii, my dad, my sister and I wanted to get some surfing lessons. My mom went to sign us up for 1:30pm. We met our surf instructor. His name was John. Then we went to play on the beach until 1:30pm. When it was time for surfing, we had to put on long sleeve swim shirt, because the board will give you a rash, and swim shoes. Next, we had to practice on a practice board. I was really surprised, because the boards were super long. I received the shortest board and it was still big! After that, we went almost across the whole beach so we could catch some big waves. Finally we went in the water. That ocean wasn’t cold at all. Once we went out, John called me over to help me catch a wave. When I saw a wave I was really excited and once I was on the wave I was screaming WOOHOO because it was so fun plus I made it to shore on the board. I got the hang of it on one of my dad’s turns, he did a summersault onto the sand. My mom took over 400 pic just of us surfing. It was the best day in the world!
