my march break trip
Friday, March 8th, I went to fort Williams in Portland, Maine. Avelyn, my dad, my mom and I were amazed from the views! We hopped out of my dad’s truck and went right to the walking trail.
Dad spotted an underground bunker for the army that used to be there! “Awe cool an underground thingy!!!” said Avelyn (excited). ‘’ look at the storage tunnel where they keep the armory.” We shouted to dad. Dad was wondering off to a weird shaped cliff. I shouted, ‘’wait for me, dad!” So he waited for me. I felt twisty and turny in my stomach. The cliff felt like it was about to break off. We came back off the cliff.
We all went to the huge castle made from native stones on the beach! The castle had gates everywhere like in the windows, the doors and the garage door. We were amazed even though we could not go in it!!!
We had so much fun. My dad says we’re going back in the fall. I hope you can go to fort Williams sometime too.
